Bold Bathroom Paint Colors

Let’s go bold! Bathroom paint color trends that are too good to miss

As the holidays approach, it might be time to freshen up the most used rooms in your house. One of these important rooms is the bathroom. While you may not have the time (or need) for a remodel, sometimes a little change is all that is needed. You can accomplish this with a new coat of paint. You can never go wrong with creating a spa feel with light blues and greens, but recently, the trend is exciting, bright and bold colors for the bathroom. Let’s look at some of the popular colors.

Get inspired!

The trend for this year has been colors inspired by nature like blue and, especially, green, ranging from cool and calm to dark and bold. For a spa-like ocean breeze feeling in your bathroom, try  Breezeway by Behr, October Mist by Benjamin Moore, or Evergreen Fog by Sherman-Williams.  For a bolder look try rich, deep green like Dard Hunter Green by Sherman Williams or Laffayette Green by Benjamin Moore. Try the last two on the vanity cabinet.

Maybe you are ready for some real excitement in your bathroom. These colors popular with designers this year may really inspire you. If you’re drawn to blue for a bathroom, try Pantone’s color of the year, Veri Peri or Behr’s Wave Top or Explorer Blue for a twist of the ordinary.  Benjamin Moore has a blueish, gray, Mysterious , that makes a sultry statement while Wild Flower is a  more glamorous look. If you enjoy the latest pink tones, take a look at Behr’s Lingonberry Punch . For a cozy, earthy feel, try Dunn-Edwards Art and Craft or Spice of life .

Perhaps you wouldn’t normally think of jewel tones in the bathroom, but this year home owners are stepping into a new style. Check out Dark Burgundy which leans toward a romantic purple or Beau Green . There is also Ruby Shade or Holiday Turqouise by Sherman Williams.

Our team just finished this bathroom repaint, infusing the space with vibrant blue. Balanced by natural light and white cabinetry, it brings a lot of personality and depth without feeling dark.

Fall in Rhode Island is more than pumpkin patches and football weekends (to be clear, it is definitely mostly about that). But it’s also prime time for painting. The air is dry, the temperatures are steady, and the sun isn’t scorching your siding. It’s basically nature’s invitation to tackle projects you’ve been putting off. From exterior touch-ups to an interior refresh before the holidays, fall gives homeowners that rare combination of good weather and motivation, and that’s worth taking advantage of. Ready to grab a brush (or at least a plan) and get a few things checked off before the frost sets in? Consider this article your first line item. Why Fall Is Ideal for Painting in Rhode Island Autumn weather in New England offers something that painters love: stability. It’s not too hot, not too humid, and rarely too cold. Paint adheres better, dries evenly, and doesn’t blister under direct sunlight like it can in midsummer. Cooler temps also mean painters, whether you or a professional crew, can work longer without racing the clock or baking under a high sun. Add in fewer bugs, drier air, and reduced pollen, and you’ve got the recipe for beautiful finishes inside and out.
